The big arrows palette contains stretchable arrows that can have labels above or below and a large variety of “charms” attached to them.
The first entry in this palette opens the Insert Arrow dialog, and this is where custom arrows can be built. The rest of the palette contains prebuilt arrows that can be modified with the Properties command after they’ve been added to an equation.
In this palette, rows 4 and 5 are identical to rows 2 and 3 but with a label above the arrow. Similarly, rows 6 and 7 are identical to rows 2 and 3 but with a label below the arrow.
