The matrices palette contains matrices ranging in size from 2×1 and 1×2 up to 4×4.
The first entry in this palette opens the Insert Matrix dialog, and this is where matrices of different sizes can be built. The rest of the palette contains prebuilt matrices that can be modified with the Properties command after they’ve been added to an equation.
