The Greek palette contains all of the Greek letters, including some obscure variants.
Most of the symbols in this palette can be inserted with the keyboard by typing Ctrl+G followed by a small or capital letter. These shortcuts are displayed in the lower-right corner of the palette when you hover over a symbol.
Small Greek letters are inserted with an italic style, and capital Greek letters are inserted with an upright style. You can toggle between these two styles after a Greek letter has been inserted in an equation by selecting the Greek letter and typing Ctrl+G.
