The arrows palette contains a variety of arrow symbols corresponding to Unicode characters. Larger stretchable arrows with optional labels are found in the big arrows palette.
A different palette containing many more arrow symbols is displayed if the control key is held in when the arrows palette is opened. This palette is shown below, and it contains many of the same arrows as the original palette but with triangular heads instead of barbed heads. These variants are encoded as separate characters in Unicode.
There are numerous additional arrows encoded in Unicode, and they can be accessed through the Insert Character dialog. Furthermore, the Radical font contains a few more arrows not encoded in Unicode in the private use area beginning at U+EE40.
